Outlook – Close All Items

Sometimes I have tons of emails open from Outlook, and in the past I closed Outlook itself to close all of these emails. Today, I thought there has to be a better way.
Indeed in the File menu there is a button “Close all items” that does exactly this.
I then added this to my toolbar by right clicking on my toolbar and selecting customize. From there under commands -> file, I dragged “Close All Items” to my toolbar. Now I can close all of my open emails in outlook with one click.
Nice.

In Outlook 2010 this was moved under the View tab, where you can find the Close All Items button.
